Our Origin
A vision born
in a Parisian atelier
In 2014, designer Élise Moreau noticed something missing in luxury lingerie: genuine inclusivity. Despite the industry's reverence for femininity, it rarely celebrated the full spectrum of womanhood.
She returned to her grandmother's sewing room in Lyon — filled with bolts of silk, spools of lace thread, and decades of craft knowledge — and began designing differently. Not just for a size, not just for an aesthetic, but for a feeling.
Today, LUMIÈRE operates from a sustainably certified atelier in Paris, employing 120 artisans and shipping to 52 countries. Every collection remains true to Élise's original philosophy: that lingerie should make you feel powerful, beautiful, and wholly yourself.

Every piece passes through at least 30 pairs of expert hands. Our artisans bring generations of lace-making tradition to every seam and embroidery.

Carbon-neutral since 2022. We use organic cotton, recycled fibres, and plant-based dyes. Our packaging is 100% plastic-free and recyclable.
Fair Wages
All our artisans earn living wages with full benefits. We're proudly certified by the Fair Trade Federation and B Corp standards.

We have reduced our water usage by 62% since 2020 through innovative dyeing processes. Our lace is woven in Calais, France — home of the world's finest lacework — using 100% renewable energy.
